Visit of students of "Diocesan Boy's School"
On March 30, 36 students and 5 teachers of the Diocesan Boy's School from Hong Kong visited the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Astana.
The guests were greeted by the school's principal Arsen Kastaevich Baitukov and had an tour arranged by our students and service coordinator Assel Yermekovna Ibentayeva. They saw the classes of the extended laboratory, the classes equipped with new technologies, the studios of extracurricular activities among other sights. The main purpose of the visit was to attend the high school lessons. The students were able to compare the teaching approaches and methods in the Diploma Program of the International Baccalaureate with their own programme.
By the end of the school day, guests were invited to observe the intellectual game "What? Where? When?" held by students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Astana.
The delegation thanked the school for the hospitality and invited our students to their school for the exchange of experience in the future.
P.S. Interesting fact for guests was the falling of snow at this time of year. After a photo of all representatives, the students and teachers lingered to play and to record unforgettable shots to commemorate the trip to the northern capital of Kazakhstan.
