WRO-2023: Kazakhstanis on the podium
Students of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Astana Adilet Ausarbekov and Aliamir Kurmangazy participated in the World Robot Olympiad (WRO). They, together with other participants from Kazakhstan, showed excellent results, taking 6th place in one of the most difficult categories, winning silver.
Represent not only our school, but the whole of Kazakhstan. To raise the flag of the motherland on the podium, who does not dream of this?
Aliamir Kurmangazy:
“The main goal of our category was to prepare the project as a startup. We participated in the senior (14+) age category. To get a good score from the judges, we need to do all the work according to the presented evaluation criteria. Together with Adlet, we recorded all our work in a documentary and presented it”
Adilet Ausarbekov:
“It was incredible. The WRO organization was at the highest level. They were able to serve more than 1,000 representatives of 80 countries. I have never seen so many flags, so many people, and such a large congress center in my life. There were crazy projects in our Future Innovators Senior section. At first glance, you won’t even believe that it was created by our peers. I want to express my gratitude to NIS and WRO for such a great opportunity to represent my country. We were given silver, which we are very happy about, but we know our weaknesses and are ready to improve them in order to take the absolute 1st place.”
