Janel Mamyrbek is a winner of the Olympics

Zhanel Mamyrbek, the 11th grade student of the International Baccalaureate School NIS, won the first place at the XIII International Competition of Research Projects in Mathematics and Mechanics. O. Zholdasbekov


The aim of the competition is to increase and develop students’ interest in scientific activity. As well as identifying the most talented students in the scientific and technical sphere and their further support.


According to the organizers, the competition was attended by 150 students from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and all regions of Kazakhstan with 112 projects.


Contest participants defended their projects in 4 sections: “Mathematics”, “Applied Mathematics”, “Mechanics”, “Mathematical Methods in Economics”.


Janel represented the school in the “Applied Mathematics” section. In the future she wants to link her profession with the field of mathematics. The leader is computer science teacher Alma Amanzholova.
