NIS Delegation Participates in WALS-2022 International Conference

An NIS delegation attends the WALS Conference on Lessons Study in Community Support and Quality Education, which takes place in Malaysia from September 20-22.

NIS International Baccalaureate School teachers Arman Imansharipova, Zhadyra Seisenbayeva, Nesibeli Nuridin, and Alima Kurbangaliyeva are participating in the conference.

The World Association for Lesson Study (WALS) aims to promote, develop research and practice in the field of lesson study to improve the quality of teaching.

The association provides a platform for cooperation in research, mutual assistance, and information exchange among its members.  Its membership includes educational researchers and teaching professionals committed to improving the quality of learning.

According to the organizers, there are 756 participants (317 international, 439 local) from 31 countries from around the world.
