To veterans with gratitude

NIS International Baccalaureate students and the Capital’s Youth Political Center congratulated veterans on Victory Day.

There are currently 18 war veterans living in Nur-Sultan. Despite the fact that not all were able to participate, we were able to pay tribute to our 11 heroes.

Many enjoyed the holiday concert, accompanied by a special orchestra.

On behalf of school community, honour to congratulate veterans fell to students of 9-8 classes – Alnur Gаzizuly, Yerasyl Zhagalbaev and Sabina Beisenbaeva.

The connection between generations is always important in our country. Children have heard and received blessings from our grandfathers, who reached the peak of the age.

– Today is a historic day for me. Earlier we saw war veterans only on TV, but now we came especially to congratulate our grandfathers. The main thing is to wish them good health”, Sabina Beisenbayeva shared.

Each participant of the event, congratulating veterans, left a piece of his heart and soul, knowing the importance of their contribution to our bright future.

We honor the memory of all the heroes who did not return from the battlefield!
