In the footsteps of ancestors – «Tugan elge tagzim – 2022»

The NIS International Baccalaureate School completed a networked local history and research expedition. This year, about 50 intellectuals from the best shanyrak “Caspiy” took part in the project. For a week, the young local historians studied historical and cultural sites near the capital.

The students spent the second day of the expedition searching for history and studying the flora of their native land, as well as traveling in space to QazҒarysh.

The young explorers, who visited the Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan, connected the multifaceted path of history with the help of a quest. In this way, expanding their knowledge, they found answers to their questions that they did not know.

– In the very center of the museum is a molded figure of a rose blowing up a black stone. In fact, no flowers ever grew out of the stone. This black stone represents the symbol of the Black War and the Front at that time, and the rose flower is the image of a woman. The composition made a strong impression on us,” shared Balym Ablahat, an NIS International Baccalaureate student.

We visited the Rodina farming company, 70 km away from Nur-Sultan, and saw with our own eyes how the plant produces dairy products.

– We learned many advantages of the village, for example, the prices of dairy products are several times cheaper than in the city. Indeed, this village really surprised us. Very high quality, comfortable to live in, comfortable – says Alua Sharisheva.

– We had a good rest and had a good time. The uniqueness of the TET expedition is the diversity and versatility of our days – all in one voice say the young local historians.
