Project   “A stable family” began its work

The NIS International Baccalaureate School hosted the first trainings of the “A stable family” project for the new academic year.

The Strong Family program, created by Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, is included in the curricula of school psychologists in Central Asia, as well as Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The program consists of seven sections. In addition, there were one-hour sessions with teenagers (“youth”) and parents (“parents”), and then parents participated in another one-hour session with teenagers (“family”).

– A family where there is harmony of spirit and willingness to overcome all difficulties together is a real protection and support for a person. Throughout life, our relatives support us on our way in life, help us with advice, are there for us in every situation and protect us,” say school psychologists.

The program takes place once a week in the school. Trainings consist of individual sessions for children and parents, as well as a common joint family session. At the first introductory meeting, the project participants have to know each other, and parents shared family traditions.
