“Sen bilesin be? – NIS IB”

Nazarbayev Intellectual School in  Nur-Sultan is an international school that provides educational opportunities for gifted students using International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and whose mission is to develop an intellectual community, intercultural understanding and the value of lifelong learning.

NIS in  Nur-Sultan received its Council of International Schools (CIS) accreditation certificate in June 2016. Its main task is the external evaluation of the school’s activities in accordance with the standards of international education.

NIS IB received International Baccalaureate authorization in November 2015 for the Core School program for students ages 12 to 16 in grades 7 through 10. The Core School program is designed to guide students in the search for awareness of their role in nature and social space.

The core of learning in the Middle Years program is the student. This emphasizes IB’s belief in the student’s holistic and spiritual development as an individual, as well as its belief in the value of independent learning. The Middle Years program is designed to guide students in the search for awareness of their role in nature and social space. The program provides independent study training in the IB Diploma Program provided by the school.
