Rural School Support Seminar

  Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Nur-Sultan held seminars to share experiences and prepare students with⠀”Saken Seyfullin Comprehensive School” of Nurinsk district, Karaganda region.

The aim of the event was methodological support, improvement of educational experience, sharpening of professional skills and development of independent creative abilities of teachers.

Fifteen teachers and 15 students specifically came to NIS IB from the village of Akhmet.

Teachers of chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, English, Russian, and history of Kazakhstan participated in the seminar.

During the offline workshop, the NIS IB student self-government conducted an excursion around the school.

 It is worth noting that last year the Global Teacher Prize Ambassador, NIS teacher Dinara Beisembayeva bought laboratory equipment for this school. Dinara Beisembaeva brought laboratory equipment for the chemistry classroom, which she purchased with part of the prize money.
