PRO.NRG Fest 2022 –  a science weekend for all

Teachers and students from the NIS International Baccalaureate School participated in the PRO.NRG Fest 2022 Festival of Science, Art and Technology.

The science festival drew over 4,000 participants from across the country. The festival program was designed so that children, teachers and parents would find answers to their questions and get inspired for the new school year.

Visitors of the festival PRO.NRG.FEST had a unique opportunity to choose their own speakers and get charged with the energy of knowledge – to plunge into the information flow of lectures, to get skills at the master classes, to see scientific shows.

Teachers from the Department of Experimental Sciences and the Department of Design and Art represented the NIS International Baccalaureate School.

Also as part of the festival, students presented three STEAM projects and presented Educational toy/game projects that started in May.

–  The aim of the work at the design lessons in the basic school is to create an educational game or toy incorporating the STEM direction. Thus, children work together in groups and present the research in the form of a sketch, starting with an idea. Subsequently, the sketch was realized with the help of graphic programs. At the festival we presented various games and toys invented by the imagination of students”, said the teachers of the Department of Design and Art.

The peculiarity of children’s products is that they actualize their knowledge of physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, geography, engineering (STEM).
