NIS has launched the Nauryzov meetings “Artificial Intelligence and Mechatronics”

Today the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, an autonomous educational organization, began the Nauryz Meetings. This year the traditional spring contest of scientific projects is dedicated to one of the most topical priorities of our time – “Artificial Intelligence and Mechatronics.

Two days of webinars are planned in Kazakh, English and Russian in online format, where famous local and foreign speakers in the field of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, robotics, engineering, architecture and ecology will speak. They are Brendan Norman, a hydrogen transport expert from Australia; Alisa Bolshakova, head of education project development at the Russian company R:ED; Zhanat Makhatayeva, a researcher at Nazarbayev University; and other distinguished scientists. On March 18, hands-on sessions will focus on Pythagoras’ theorem in topography, using mathematical modeling to understand earthquakes, creating space materials, and other projects in chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, and computer science.

Today on the air of NIS have already spoken Nurhat Zhakiev, research fellow of Astana IT University, PhD in physics – about the application of methods of machine learning in the field of energy and Alexander Karzhavin, engineer for the implementation of projects of Kazakhstan company Tech Garden – about the artificial intelligence in the mining and metallurgical industry of the republic.

 

The participants in the Nauryzov meetings are looking forward to the arrival from Zurich of the famous Swiss futurist Gerd Leonhard, whose webinar topic is of interest to everyone without exception – “The Future of Machines and Mankind. Artificial Intelligence and Human Intelligence.

 

The representative of “QazInnovations” Daniyar Bektenov will dedicate his speech to innovative projects and state support measures in our country.
