The first IBeeMUN conference was held – Model United Nations

NIS International Baccalaureate School hosted the international conference “IBeeMUN 2022”.  

The organizers were the MUN School Club represented by students Janiya Kenes and Fatima Rishatkyzy.

170 participants from different countries such as Azerbaijan and Spain registered for the conference.  The best 140 delegates were selected for 7 different committees such as UNESCO, ICJ, UNICEF, HRC, WHO, UNSC and ECOSOC.

During the Model UN, participants discussed “Armed Conflicts and Refugees in the Middle East – Simulating the UN”.

Aisha Muratova, Artem Pak, Adilya Amantaeva, Begim-Ana Kalymbet, Darmen Ausarbekov, Tomiris Karbaeva, Madina Akhmadkyzy, Inju Kalymbet, Alisher Karkinbaev, Aru Kudassova, Mansur Saylaubek, Alua Nurlan, Ayala Maksutova, Liya Abayeva, Aida Dinmukhamed and Tomiris Baimukhanova were nominated for «Best Delegate», «Outstanding Delegate» and «Best Position Paper». Also, UNSC was named Best Conference Committee.

According to MUN club members, they are announcing that they will soon be recruiting for the club.
