On the pedestal of honor

The organizer of the national tournament was the Aiteke club of the NIS in Aktobe. Twenty-four teams and more than a hundred players took part in the tournament.

According to the results of the qualifying stage, the capital team won first place out of twenty-four on points, and each of the students was in the top 10 speakers of all participants. And Ayaulym Kentaeva with her performance received the highest score and became the best speaker of the tournament.

– For me debate is a way of life, I find it a very interesting pastime and I plan to develop in this area further, – shared Rashida Karnakova.

According to the deputy director on of educational work Magripa Altaybekova, nowadays the development of school debate movement is a pressing issue:

– Debate is a necessary tool for the formation of students’ political culture, responsibility for their actions to themselves and society, creative and critical thinking.
