An intellectual game “There will be no Earth as native…” took place

As part of the April decade of the Kazakh language in the school NIS International Baccalaureate in order to strengthen interdisciplinary relations geography teachers held an intellectual game. 

“There will be no Earth as native…” the intellectual game was attended by grades 9 B and 10 B.

The game consisted of sections: “Identify a natural object”, “Find a sequence”, “Know a personality”, “Words included in a song”. 

Under the names of land and water were hidden the works and authors included in the song. This established a connection between geography and the subject of Kazakh literature. As a result of a persistent game the 9th grade became the best and the 10th grade was awarded with letters of gratitude for active participation.

The interdisciplinary connection is a condition for determining the relationship between different academic disciplines and one of the conditions of education and learning. Scientific and pedagogical evidence recognizes the promotion of interdisciplinary connection in enhancing the effectiveness of learning with the deepening of students’ worldview in the modern educational, educational system. Students’ understanding of the theories imparted by different subjects gives impetus to their general mind, gives cognitive activity a creative character, systematizes all the knowledge obtained.
