Diana Azhigalieva, an NIS International Baccalaureate student, received an invitation to participate in the Yale Young Global Scholars 2022 summer program at Yale University.

Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut is one of the most famous private Ivy League research universities.

Diane chose Innovation in Science and Technology to study. The program awarded $3450.

“I first heard about the YYGS program two years ago, but at that point I still should have worked on my application and academic achievements. Then, already with a stronger profile, I filled out the application in the fall of 2021 by writing essays and completing other assignments. During this time, the support from my mentor, my teachers, and my friend helped a lot. In December, I received an invitation letter, which of course made me happy. I have yet to go through the program itself this summer, but I think I have already gained valuable experience in the application process, Diana shared.
