Aida Davletova – winner of the International Olympiad on Linguistics
A ceremony honoring winners of international Olympiads was held in Nur-Sultan. Minister of Education Askhat Aimagambetov ceremonially awarded talented students.
Aida Davletova, a student of the NIS International Baccalaureate School, earlier won the National Linguistic Olympiad and had an opportunity to represent Kazakhstan at an educational competition of world level. This was the first time the young linguist performed at IOL.
IOL-2022 was held on the British Isle of Man from July 24 to 30. Participants competed in mastering Ubykh, Cham, Ntsu, Arabic, Alabama, and Manchurian.
– It is a great surprise for me to win the bronze medal at the International Olympiad. I am glad that the last year within the walls of the school this year ended on such a great note. I have enough academic plans. One of them is the development of anthropological science in our country. In the future I want to combine linguistics and biology – shared Aida Davletova.
The young linguist received a certificate for 1.5 million tenge. This is an event held by the state in order to stimulate gifted pupils.
