The First Republican Practical Conference for Art Teachers was organized at NIS

NIS hosted the First Republican Workshop Conference for Art Teachers on the theme “Fine Arts at Modern School

Teachers from Nur-Sultan secondary schools, teachers from universities and art schools, teachers of fine arts and clay therapy from rehabilitation centers and schools took part in the conference.

The speakers were both teachers and employees of the department of subjects of social-humanitarian and complex-aesthetic direction of the branch “Center for Educational Programs” of the autonomous educational organization “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”, the Center for Modernization of Education of Nur-Sultan.

More than ten speakers for two days shared their teaching experience.

There were discussed some actual questions concerning modern art education as an obligatory and independent subject “Fine Arts” in the school programs.

At the end of the conference, a resolution was adopted – to create the Association of Teachers of Fine Arts of Kazakhstan with the aim of development of professional activity and transfer of experience, to present the methodological guide for teachers of Fine Arts NIS International Baccalaureate.

The organizers of the conference were the teachers of the NIS Department of Art and Design. Nur-Sultan. According to Aigul Tolegenova, a teacher of fine arts, it is planned to hold the conference annually. And also the first exhibition of artists-teachers of this community is planned.
