Aruzhan Manarbay presented her art gallery exhibition
Aruzhan Manarbai, a 10th-grade student in the NIS International Baccalaureate School, held her painting exhibition as part of a personal project.
“The Personal Project is a required component of the MYP program. It focuses on the student’s interests and is age-appropriate. The result is a personal and often creative result/product.
According to the painter, she didn’t think much about her choice of subject matter.
“My painting is the major result of my project. The composition of the painting: the Silhouette of Astana against a beautiful sky. I wanted to convey how beautiful the architecture of our city is. And also in Astana there is always a very beautiful sky, but many people don’t notice it. So I visualized how I see our city, to show the beauty of our everyday life. And I hope after the exhibition, you will pay attention to these things, and your life will become more bright,” Aruzhan shared.
In the visual arts it is also important to keep up with modernity. From this point of view the young painter used new techniques in the art: gantry and watercolor techniques.
The exhibition represented the paintings of painters Asem and Zhanar Bakenovna as well.
An exhibition of young talents will be held at our school in the future.
We wish Aruzhan creative ideas.
