Objectives of the national project ««100 kui»»:
– Development of spiritual values of students;
– Instilling the history of the art of the kui in the minds of young people;
– Patriotic education of students;
– Increased interest and love for the dombra;
– To raise respect to our national instrument.
The activities carried out in our school while implementing this project:
– To teach the dombra to all seventh graders;
– The school orchestra;
– Flash Mob of Dombrists, which is held annually on December 1.
– Master classes, tutorial hours, etc.
A new social media challenge was launched by Nur-Sultan IB schoolchildren performing the kui “Ata Tolgauy” to mark the 95th anniversary of the legendary Kazakh composer and conductor Nurgisa Tlendiyev.

The school orchestra of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Nur-Sultan performed Togzhan Zhahin’s “Impromptu” on the 75th–anniversary of the Great Victory.
The leader of the orchestra was Kambarov Nurlybek.
Also, all dombra lessons are conducted by the teacher in an online format.

In honour of the 175th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet Abay, “Ayttym salem, Kalamkas” was performed on the violin by Tinali Inzhu, a student of the class 8H.
