«New Competencies of a School Principal and teacher of the XXI Century»

NIS teacher Dinara Beisembayeva was one of the speakers at the Winter School Conference organized by Atyrau University of Oil and Gas named after S.Utebayev.
 
The Winter School is part of the “West HUB” activities under the guidance of Almagul Kanagatova, Advisor to the Rector of the Utebayev Oil and Gas University of Atyrau, and has become a platform for training, discussion, and development of teachers in the Western region. At the two-day conference, leading experts in the field of education spoke and shared their views. Gulzada Shakulikova, Chairman of the Board, Rector of S. Utebayev Oil and Gas University of Atyrau, conducted an analysis of the 21st century’s competencies of teachers and the managerial corps of school. Dinara Beisembaeva, chemistry teacher at Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Nur-Sultan and «Global Teacher Prize» Ambassador, spoke about her biography and teacher’s status as an Ambassador. School principals and teachers received six modular training sessions on such topics as working with gifted children in school, developing leadership in the classroom and school, and improving student project work.
 
Also at the conference spoke Saule Makhambetova, the principal of school «Almalybalyk» of Almaty region, Marzhan Nurhanova, coordinator of the project «National Teacher Prize Kazakhstan», Balsheker Aimash, teacher-psychologist of secondary school-gymnasium of Almalybak village, Gulnaz Abildaeva, the principal of school-gymnasium №1 named after A.S.Pushkin in Shymkent, Karlygash Kurmanbekova, the principal of secondary comprehensive school №28 in Shymkent, Karlygash Kurmanbekova, the principal of school-lyceum №23 in Shymkent and Zhanar Toylibayeva, the principal of school-lyceum №23 named after Z. Kosmodemyanskaya in Shymkent. The speakers discussed new ideas of school management, issues of rebooting teaching methods and technologies for teachers of the XXI century.
