Nur-Sultan NIS graduate receives letters of admission from the universities in the United States, Hong Kong and Japan
Nur Amitov, a 12th grader at Nazarbayev Intellectual School in the country’s main city, received letters of admission from Ohio State University, the New Jersey Institute of Technology of the USA, Hong Kong Polytechnic University of Hong Kong and Kyoto University of Advanced Sciences of Japan.
An NIS graduate, Nur focused on the quality of education, campus social life and institutional rankings in his choice of the universities. In the future, Nur sees himself as a mechanical and programming engineer. The choice of the future engineer fell on Kyoto University of Advanced Sciences (KUAS) in Japan. It is a private university, based on a truly unique engineering department. KUAS seeks to develop progressive human resources capable of defining the challenges that will shape the future and offering solutions; conducting cutting-edge research that will solve the various problems facing modern society. That is why the intellectual decided to study at this particular university.
In addition to good studies, Nur actively participated in the social life of the school: he was engaged in volunteering, performed at school concerts and events, distinguished himself in the ability to program the website. He also participated in basketball tournaments and won prizes in competitions.
