NIS graduate receives full educational scholarship from universities in Cyprus and Latvia

Dias Nurmukhamedov, a graduate of Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Nur-Sultan, received an educational scholarship covering the full cost of his studies at the International University of Cyprus and the Riga Business School.

In addition, Dias was accepted to the Spanish IE University and received the “IE High Potential Award,” which, in turn, gives an 80% tuition discount. For his early application to the university, the ISM University of Management and Economics in Lithuania awarded Diaz a scholarship that includes 25% of his tuition. Among the universities that would like to have Dias as a student are LCC University in Lithuania, Jacobs University in Germany, Hofstra University in the United States, Corvinus University and the Budapest Business School in Hungary.

– There was no limit to my joy when reading the letters of admission, especially when I found out about the grant or scholarship. Admittedly, I was very worried when I saw that my friends were getting invitations and I hadn’t received any response. At the moment I have not decided on a university, because I decided to wait for an answer from universities in Hungary and Turkey. In the future, I plan to study business, communication and media sciences,” – Dias said.

The young intellectual participated in Russian language and geography Olympiads and was an active member of the Adal Volunteer Club (AVC). He worked as a leader of the school table tennis club and the NISA Library Club. He also created the “iВрiсk” service, which helps students find the right university for them. According to Dias, the “iВрiсk” service was useful to him as well.
