Ivy League invites Dina, a student of the capital’s NIS
Dina Zhanybekova, a 12th grade student of Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Nur-Sultan, received an invitation from an Ivy League university. Namely, one of the best universities in the world, the University of Pennsylvania, USA, fully covers Dina’s tuition and living expenses.
– I have known about the University of Pennsylvania for a long time. I really liked the opportunities that the university offers to young people interested in film: useful courses, student clubs, interesting internships, etc. I was also drawn to the university’s location – the University of Pennsylvania is in the big city, Philadelphia, which is also close to New York City. This, in turn, creates a good environment for networking, which is very important for me, – says Dina.
Dina Zhanybekova, who dreams of becoming a film director and producer in the future, is currently studying film, math and English in depth. Among the achievements of the talented graduate – diplomas received in the Olympiads in chemistry and English, competitions in piano and debate tournaments. In addition, Dina became an active member of the school self-government, participating in the organization of intra-school events.
The University of Pennsylvania is one of the oldest institutions of higher education and the first university in the United States to also be a member of the elite Ivy League.
